Runtz has become a modern classic in the Cannabis industry, to the point that many crosses have been made with it. Azul Runtz x Pink Runtz is an in-house cross created here at Paper Crane Cannabis. Both strains were bred by Ziplock seeds in Oregon where he had crossed them independently to White Truffle (which is a cross of the epic strains Gorilla Butter and Tahoe OG, it's a powerhouse). We grew both of them with great success in 2024 so we decided to keep the best "Azul" male plant and put the pollen onto the best "Pink" female from that season. Azul Runtz is made of Blue Sherbert x Zkittlez. The strain offers a delightful blend of sweet and fruity flavors with hints of citrus and berries. Users often describe the taste as a combination of Sour Diesel and the candy Runtz notes. Pink Runtz has influences from Rainbow Sherbert and Pink Panties (yes it's a strain- made up of Burmese Kush and Florida Kush)- This bud has a sweet, fruity, earthy strawberry flavor. The aroma is of earthy berries and sour notes, all wrapped up with a sugary sweet overtone that can be slightly pungent at times.

The cross of Azul and Pink produced very consistent, vigorous plants with incredible resistance to negative impacts from the environment. Along with that, the flowers were big and had fantastic smells all around. The plants finished in time, before our dynamic New England weather turned for the worse.
